Fiè allo Sciliar in the summer

One of the mostly known destinations of excursions and walks in the surroundings of Fiè allo Sciliar is surely the lake of Fiè.

This is a fairy tail place in summer offering a dreamlike landscape with the outstanding view to the mountain of Sciliar with its Santner peak, the symbol of the South Tyrol.

This lake offers cooling on hot summer days while taking refreshing and relaxing baths. The second lake, reachable in 10 minutes, offers furthermore the possibility of fishing (only with fishing license).
The lake of Fiè also represents an ideal starting point for several hiking paths like the short and easy walk to the church of S. Costantino di Fiè, which is located on a picturesque lonely hill bordered by wonderful green meadows and a beautiful view to the village of Siusi allo Sciliar. Some more difficult excursions are also starting from the lake Fiè leading to the Santner Peak and the mountain massive of the Sciliar.
